Okay, So I've taken some time off lately, very sorry! but.. It's all been for a good cause! As you all know, I set myself a little task of making youtube makeup tutorials every Sunday, and this Sunday was the first day filming "Beths tips". I have to be honest with you, I really am not the type of person to get in front of a camera and speak but I did it nevertheless and it looks great! I didn't talk too much but seen as though It's my first video, I think I can handle that! It will get better in time I promise! I had the help of my older brother who deals with editing, camera's, computers and all that technical stuff for a living so he was a big help! If you want to check out his website - mostlygeraint.com

so day 3 in the blogging family! and today's topic is...


MAKEUP TUTORIALS!
So I've had my own youtube account for about a year or so and I've always wanted to do some makeup tutorials to see what you guys think of my work! but I've always thought of an excuse not to do it as I'm really quite shy and talking into a camera can be quite a challenging task for me! but I've now realised that I need to get more confidence in what I do otherwise I'm not going to get very far as a makeup artist! So this Sunday I'm going to be making my first ever makeup tutorial, I'm going to have the help of my oldest brother who works with computers for a living do my editing of the video hopefully! and then there's talk about having my other brother do his own hair tutorial straight after! The overall look is going to be Red Carpet Glam! I don't want to give too much away because that would be spoiling;) Whether or not the video will be ready by Sunday night I can't say for definite but I'll definitely try my best! Once it's ready I'll be posting the link on here, Facebook and Twitter! As it's going to be my first ever makeup tutorial I can't say that I won't be rambling quite a bit.. because I'll definitely be nervous and I tend to ramble when I'm nervous! but anyway I hope you all get to check it out! if you do.. Hey Dolls!
So it's my second day blogging and I am CONFUSED! haha!, If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated! My goal on here is to talk about specific topics everyday and then have your thoughts on what I've said! So comment, follow or send me any messages! The topic today is... SKIN CARE!

Okay so a lot of people tend to ask me questions like "how is your skin so clear?", "How don't you get any spots?" and explaining to people how I prepare my skin can be quite challenging some times so I thought what better way to tell you all by making a blog!
I happen to know a few people who suffer from bad acne and a lot of them are all doing the same most common thing wrong! Their not taking their makeup off at night! Taking your makeup off at night with warm water, skin friendly soap and a towel is probably the number 1 best thing for your skin other than not wearing any makeup at all.. but let's be serious your not going to stop wearing makeup because of a few spots are you? If you take your makeup off before you go to bed at night, Your skin can be allowed to breath! This can help if you have oily skin also.

Question time- Did you know that acne is a skin disease?

My daily skin care ritual!
Okay so the first thing I do in the morning is cleanse my skin and like I always say! If you do nothing else, Cleansing is the single most important thing you can do for your face! BUT! I don't just mean I reach for the nearest bar of soap! In fact in some cases using a bar of soap can leave your skin dryer than usual.. this I know first hand! So be sure to use a skin friendly cleanser which is specifically designed for your face!
Second step - Exfoliate! I have an exfoliating glove which i then pair up with an exfoliating scrub and then I rub my face in circular motions! What this does is remove the surface layer of dead skin cells which are blocking the pores!
and the last step - Moisturizer! UV and wind can seriously damage skin and dry it out so what moisturizer does is keeps your skin hydrated so it can heel better! I recommend either proactive or neutrogena!

My introduction!

Okay, so here we go! My first EVER blog!
I'm going to start by saying obviously hi! and Welcome! Your going to have to bare with me at the moment as I am brand new to this- some may say a blogging virgin! So feel free to give me any advise or tips you have, I am in need of quite a few to say the least! I think I'm going to kick things off with a little introduction of myself!

Ahem.. My full name is Bethan Rhiannon Jones, I'm Welsh.. but I can't actually speak welsh so don't even bother asking me to "say something"- you should probably know that I absolutely LOATHE the fact that I am Welsh, and I'll give you an example why.. (1). We sound stupid, not as in funny, I mean actually stupid!. (2). The term "sheep shagger" will haunt me all my life.. although I don't know anybody (including myself) who has actually shagged a sheep.. but because of our tarnished name.. If I talk to somebody who is not welsh and you actually tell them that you are welsh, they ALWAYS have to say "sheep shagger" -_- !!! (Beastiality is wrong) and the last reason why I hate being welsh (3). It is honestly one of the most boring bloody places to live ever! If your someone like me who has an interest in fashion, photography, makeup or anything like that.. well basically your fucked.. excuse my language. But if your a farmer, painter, sheep herder or a damn plain boring person then this is the place to be! Okay, so I'm 15 years old(16 in August), I'm still in school, but I'm also studying in a theatrical makeup college in Cardiff twice a week. As you've probably already guessed I am INLOVE with all things makeup.. Um, I think that's pretty much all I can say about myself! So.. onto the family!.. My mother is a well known estate agent in Wales, she's on television on homes under the hammer quite often I've been told and she is amazing! she's my mammy-bear:) and I'm her goldylocks:), My eldest brother is 26 and to be honest with you I couldn't really tell you what he does for a living because I don't really know:/ I know that he's taking a few professional photographs, so I guess that makes him a photographer!, He is a area manager of a youth centre, um.. honestly I really don't know - he never really tells me what he does?, My other older brother is 24 and he is a owner of a very successful hair salon, he is also an assessor which means he qualifies learners in the industry and also working towards his PGC to become a teacher, I guess he's the reason why I love all things GLAM!:) and then I have 2 younger brothers who are twins and their just 9 so their still in school. Soo.. You know everything there is to know about me and my family now, i guess the only thing left to do now is to tell you what's coming up.. I'm going to be posting a few pictures of my makeup idea's, sketches and hopefully daily makeup looks, maybe a few hair styling ideas/tips.. just me having a bit of fun basically:) so for now..
